We furnished a collector's South Beach residence to balance the curation of her art with the interiors. The bright, open apartment features striking white walls creating the perfect palette for the display of her contemporary collection. The modern decor is a contrast to the ocean views creating a dynamic that brings city style living to the beach. Cozy, yet sophisticated, the dining room’s wood clad wall brings warmth and an organic element complementing the St. Paul Minimum dining table with Hans Wegner dining chairs in matching finish. Almost floating above we opted for a mobile chandelier by Michael Anastassiades.
The living room is a casually chic layout ideal for relaxing and entertaining guests. A white Divani Ille sofa creates a perimeter allowing one to focus on all the pieces that make the setting - from the B&B Italia lounge chairs to the unexpected rocking armchair. Swivel Tulip chairs allow the conversation to flow from either side of the living room and dining room. The coffee table adds an architectural feel with its linear and leveled surfaces. The eye travels around the room where a David Weeks tripod floor lamp anchors the view between the two corner windows. The primary bedroom is a relaxing style in primarily white and cream tones with a plush Zanotta bed. Facing the room is a custom vanity which doubles as a desk with a mini B&B Italia Papilio chair.
